Does the PX3 attach to the KX3 in some sort of a rigid configuration?
So it becomes sort of one unit? I imagine folks using this combo in the filed would like something like that. Perhaps similar to this PAE-Kx31 heat sink with side handles, only extending sideways to include the PX3? Otherwise it might be a bit too much to handle when you're not using a real shack desk or something... Just an idea.. PX3 photo can be found here:
http://www.elecraft.com/manual/PX3%20Data%20Sheet%20rev%20B1a.pdf I notice that the Elecraft Order site shows the PX3 only, no accessories. I am wondering about the cables for connecting it to the KX3 pass thru and so forth. I would assume that there will be cables and I would want to get them with the PX3 included in the same shipping cost :). Not a big deal, just sayin'. Also, I am an accessory guy...I like to look thru the accessories and see which ones I may ever need. Listening E guys? Big margin on those items and I like them.

No extra cables needed. The cable between PX3 and KX3 is included. Plug the existing KXUSB or KXSER into the PX3 instead of the KX3 for rig control and logging.

Too early, Chuck. No manual, either! It may
interface via the cable set they already sell for the KX3: Dunno. It appears in the photo that the RX3 plugs into the KX3 directly. Whatever cables you would plug into the KX3 just plug into the PX3.
