Newbie question - re: kx2 with amp

Tom Parish
I am waiting for my kx2 to arrive. I  am delighted at the energetic and thoughtful responses in this group.

While waiting I was wondering - is there and option to use the kxa10 100 watt amp in the future with the kx2 if I wanted too?

If so, how much battery power would the kxa10 and optional ATU require for a portable hike type operation? I realize it's more weight, I am just curious to explore what's possible.

Thank you,
Tom KG5LBP

Congratulations Tom on your ordering the KX2. You will love. I have had mine
