The Tesla rep I spoke to at the factory a few months ago said that
Panasonic is supplying the batteries for the Tesla Model S. I believe A123
is the provider to Fisker.

Wow that's a real shame.  

Bud (of dipole fame) brought some of those for one of his demos.
A six cell unit, similar to six d cells in size, weighed less than
Half of what you would expect.

Expensive....but more power and far less weight.

I thought they were on to something.

Bankrupt.
