OT: K3 wrinkle paint

Off topic a bit:

The K3's paint - I need to replicate it on some homebrew equipment.  I
like the orange-peel texture on the K3.  What is the closest thing I can
get in an aresol can to finish off this homebrew rig.

Please reply directly.  I don't closely monitor the list.

Isn't there a small can of paint offered on the order
page?  If so, maybe "Parts" can tell us if it's the
current version (texture) of the paint.

The K1 and K2 use a grey wrinkle finish. The K3 has a flat non-wrinkle finish. Most likely a good can of flat black spray paint will do what you want.

I used WAL MART Color Place Rust Control spray paint to finish a pair of
homebrew speaker cabinets to match my K3.  It is Black Satin (21049), which
I believe is between flat and semi-gloss.  It looks very close to the
Elecraft K3 paint.
