Technically ... yes. The main lobe is bi-directional in the plane of
the loop, and is very [very] broad, it's sometimes hard to discern the
maximum. There are two nulls orthogonal to the plane of the loop which
are very deep and very sharp. On a few occasions [you can count them
on the fingers of one hand, even if you're missing a couple of fingers],
I've been able to null a noise source. Don't make that maneuver your
Plan A however. My mag loop works as well, or better, than my former
Buddipole. The big advantages for me are that it is fairly insensitive
to surroundings including the earth and me, and it is really quick to
set up and re-pack.
