[OT] New Vibroplex

Hi all,

Sorry for the OT post, but I got my new Vibroplex bug in the mail yesterday and I don't think I've ever had this much fun in amateur radio since I was a novice back at age 11. I've been up off and on all night playing with it and trying to learn how to send with it too. It's a lot harder than I thought hi hi.

Anyway, here's a greeting with it using my K3's sidetone:

PS: I ordered an extra weight with it, which when added to the existing one gets the dits down to a comfortable approx. 18wpm.

Reminds me of my old Vibroplex Original Key I had as a Novice in the 1960s.  But, that clacking noise of the mechanical key is something else.  I did like my Vibroplex (and, even have another one now) but much prefer my Begali Paddle due to its sweet movement and soft silence when being used.

Have fun with the new toy though.
