I have downloaded P3 Utility several times, and get this message when running:
"An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled. The app will now shut down," The enemy is usually me. What might I be doing wrong? What type of computer are you using? Is this the Windows, Mac, or Linux
version of the P3 Utility? I'm experiencing the same thing running Mountain Lion on a Mac.
It did work when I installed 1.17 so I am a bit puzzled. Anyway I loaded Parallels and loaded 1.18 via Windows. Hi Syl,
I assume you're using a Mac. The 'Help' folder must be in the same location as the P3 Utility App file. Make sure they are together in the same location. Let me know if that doesn't solve the problem. There are other things we can try. I have attempted to download P3 v1.18 with Windows without success. There
are several file duplications and file omissions. Maybe I was using a corrupt download. You have an issue with AVG or similar Antivirus prog, most likely and its
hosts file write. Remove AVG(or other) & reboot. Install MSE (free) windows.microsoft.com/MSE edit hosts file to as below (remove anything you see extra to below); ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------- # Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp. # # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows. # # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names.
