Pomona 3296 Parts Source?

Paul Clay
Can't seem to find a source for the subject
BNC-binding post adapter for use with my KX1.  I
checked the Mouser website, but though they show
the item, they don't seem to stock it.  The only
other website I could find that sells this part
has a $60 minimum order for Pomona parts.  Any
recommended source(s)?

Paul:

Supposing that you are not in a desperate hurry for the item, and you are
willing to trade a bit of lead time for money, I suggest that it would be
worthwhile for you to consider Mouser.

Of they carry an item as listed but unstocked, they are typically very good
about seeing that it gets delivered within a few days/weeks, even on
small-lot orders. My advice is to give them a call (you'll talk to a human
and not a computer) and see what they can do for you.

The Pomona 1296 is much cheaper. That's what I use.  Try
http://froogle.google.com and they're all in the $10-$15 range.

I found one at my nearest Fry's Electronics.  I recall that it was
around $8 or $9.

I just bought a Pomona 1296 from Allied Electronics, Inc. for $11.90 (over
the Internet).  Well worth the money.  And they had them in stock for
immediate shipment.

I bought a BNC to binding post adapter at a local Radio Shack.....maybe not as good quality as Pomona (brand), but good enough, mine works OK.

The Pomona web site lists all the major distributors as stocking their
products:   Allied, Newark, Arrow, McMaster Carr, Powell, as well as Mouser.
Maybe not all stock every item, but Allied , Newark, and McMaster Carr are
usually widely stocking down here.
