Question about shipping.

Jerry
All,

I wonder if Elecraft would sell to its' consumers the boxes and packaging
material that would fit our radio, amps and other Elecraft products?

Best regards,

Jerry, W1IE

I was dreaming of pulling the trigger on the K4 next year and was thinking the same thing. This thread may save me a phone call :-).

My apologies to Jerry, W1IE for spamming his personal mailbox :-(

It cost more to ship the shipping box to you for shipping your radio back to Elecraft than the shipping box cost.  Worth it!

Ben W4SC  K3/K3S box with foam inserts $26 shipping

Yes. But the packing is a bit expensive. And, you get a free radio in every box.

I take it you didn’t save the one they sent it in.  Or you bought a pre-loved item

Or it was built from a kit, as mine was.

But I do save shipping boxes, to the chagrin of my wife....--

Several years ago I purchased shipping boxes for Collins S-Line radios from a source I believe was called "Ham Radio Boxes" .  I don't know if they are still around or not, but the boxes were exactly what I needed.
