Quick question K3

Getting ready for the contest. When I transmit on 6 at 92 watts and SWR of
1.7, the power shuts down after 30 seconds of transmitting. Re-transmitt
and it's OK for another 30 seconds. ???

What mode? FSK? Is you power supply shutting down and not the K3? What's the
Power supplies rating?

Phil,

You can also monitor the power supply
voltage with the K3.

Tap DISP, then turn VFO B until you get the display with "A" to the
side. What kind of current are you pulling with 92 watts into 1.7 SWR
when it shuts off? Also turn VFO B until PA shows on the display,
what temperature are you getting when it shuts off?
