RC,
Those voltages should be just fine. The 6R/AUX voltage is just a bit high, but that small amount of difference could be attributed to your meter - and even if that voltage is really 20 mv higher than it should be, you still should see transmitter output. The easiest way to chase down the problem is to use an RF probe or 'scope to see where the signal is being lost. Follow the steps indicated in the Transmit Signal Tracing portion of the Troubleshooting section of the K1 manual. Once you know the stage where the signal is lost, we can help you isolate the failing connection or component (or you will find it yourself in the process). 73, Don W3FPR ----- Original Message ----- >> I still need a little more help on my K1. >> I'm in the Align & Test Part II >> page 46 in the manual >> schematic in apendix b >> transmit-mode dc voltage measurements: >> >> point to grd___should be_recheck per don w3fpr in TUNE MODE >> J7 pin 1_______5.1-6.7______5.66 >> J7 pin 4_______5.9-6.1______6.10 >> J7 pin 6________<.02________0.05 >> J7 pin 8_______3.8-4.1______3.95 >> >> U8 pin 1_______1.3-1.5______1.41 >> U8 pin 8_______5.1-5.5______5.54 >> >> U9 pin 3_______6.0-7.0______6.26 >> U9 pin 6_______6.0-7.0______6.26 >> U9 pin 7_______12-14_______12.52 >> >> D9 anode_______4.3-4.6______4.56 >> D9 cathode_____3.8-4.1______3.95 >> D10 anode_______<.02_______0.04 >> D10 cathode_____3.8-4.1_____3.95 >> D11 anode_______ <.02_______0.04 >> D11 cathode_____4.0-4.6_____4.15 >> D13 anode_______0.6-0.7_____0.63 >> D13 cathode_____<.02________0.04 >> >> RX es fb.
