RTTY questions

Dale Long
I am having trouble getting started in RTTY.  Am using AFSK and N1MM with MTTY.

In the RTTY Engine it appears that I am transmitting, but there is no output.  Last night I went through all the K3 config parameters, and still no luck.

There were a few times that I noticed an "Overload" error message...Another thing is that in the TX tab of the setup, it will not recognize my COM port.  Thats probably because it is in use. The problem may be a N1MM setup issue.  In the Configur Ports tab, what ports do I need to assign in addition to the radio?

Thanks

Dale CX/N3BNA

lower power on lower frequencies

Dale Long
In reply to this post by Dale Long

Our K3 seems to have full output on 10/15 and 20m.

70 watts on 40m
60 watts on 80m
40 watts on 160m.

This does not seem to be related to antenna SWR, so must be a setting of some kind.  All tests were done on CW mode

Thanks

Re: lower power on lower frequencies

Don Wilhelm-4
Dale,

Please substantiate that it is not antenna related by doing the same
test into a dummy load with the KAT3 in bypass.
