RX Audio ON/OFF

Gary Mohrlant
I like to using the RX audio Equalization on my K3.

I use the K3 for some of the digital modes and when I do I need to have
a flat audio response.

Is there a way to turn off the equalization when I don't want it and
then turn it on when not running digital modes.

I know I can reset it to flat in the menu by pressing CLR but then I
have to go thru the set up again.

Setup:    I'm using the line output.

I'm not a programer so I don't know if this could be done with a Macro
or if this is something that Elecraft could provide in a software update.

Hi,

Both Tx and Rx equalizer settings are automatically reset when selecting
digital modes.

Thanks  Walter

I just looked at Data A in the on line manual and it states that USB is
used and compression is set to zero but it doesn't say anything about
RX EQ or TX EQ being turned off.

I tried DATA A and it works like you said
