I have seen a few comments from people saying that they think that the price for the KXPA100 is too high.

If you compare the KXPA100 to Ten Tec's new Model 418 amp (100w - 160m through 6m) at
$US785, I would say that the factory assembled KXPA100 at $US749.95 is quite competitively priced.

Both look to be very decent amps and should run very clean.

And, as far as I know, there is no companion ATU available for the 418.
Plus, save yourself $50 and build the KXPA100 yourself.
