I have seen a few comments from people saying that they think that the price for the KXPA100 is too high.
If you compare the KXPA100 to Ten Tec's new Model 418 amp (100w - 160m through 6m) at $US785, I would say that the factory assembled KXPA100 at $US749.95 is quite competitively priced. Both look to be very decent amps and should run very clean. I agree it's cheaper than the Ten Tec amp so where is the problem on the
price? 73, Fred/N0AZZ -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Michael Babineau Sent: Wednesday, June 19, 2013 12:18 PM To: [hidden email] Subject: Re: [Elecraft] KXPA100 I have seen a few comments from people saying that they think that the price for the KXPA100 is too high. And, as far as I know, there is no companion ATU available for the 418.
Plus, save yourself $50 and build the KXPA100 yourself. 73 de Jim - AD6CW On 6/19/2013 10:17 AM, Michael Babineau wrote: > I have seen a few comments from people saying that they think that the price for the KXPA100 is too high. > > If you compare the KXPA100 to Ten Tec's new Model 418 amp (100w - 160m through 6m) at > $US785, I would say that the factory assembled KXPA100 at $US749.95 is quite competitively priced. > > Both look to be very decent amps and should run very clean. > > Michael VE3WMB > ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
