Does the recommended list of solders to use mean that 60/40 .032 dia. (Radio Shack #64-009E) should no longer to be used?  Roy Morris  W4WFB

I have used the .032 but the .015 is a lot easier to
work with for me.

Hi Roy:

NOT AT ALL!  60/40 content solders are just fine as well. But since 63/37
was readily available, and because it leaves less chance of a cold joint, I
chose to provide info for that type of solder.

All the vendors noted offer 60/40 content solder as well.

By the way, the Multicore link which Joe (W2KJ) just posted to the
reflector is a really GOOD one! Their price is less than HALF of that shown
by the other vendors on the list, and they will sell single-lot rolls. I
just called them to confirm that. I think Elecraft will be adding R.S
Hughes http://rshughes.com/products/mm00979.html to the solder vendor list
soon... at least, that's the impression I get.
