At the risk of sounding like I'm criticizing the K2, I'd like to say that the menues are awkward to set. Unless I have a cheat-sheet of some kind, I can't find my way through them. I suppose this isn't such a big deal because most of the menue settings are a set once and forget or at least a rare change. It would be so much easier if there were a remote control application that allows access to the K2 menues, but I can't find one. Does anyone know of such a program? http://www.richardcarter.net/ _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. As an option, check out the Nifty Quick Reference Guide and Mini-manual. I
don't have their K2 manual but I have one for my TH-F6 ht. http://www.niftyaccessories.com/Elecraft_RefGuide.htm Craig NZ0R K1 #1966 K2/100 #4941 -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Richard Carter Sent: Sunday, February 26, 2006 1:11 PM To: [hidden email] Subject: [Elecraft] Remote control software At the risk of sounding like I'm criticizing the K2, I'd like to say that the menues are awkward to set. After looking at the help pages, I don't see anything that would allow
configuring the radio menus such as filter bandwidth settings etc. I can't run the program with my K2 yet because I have yet to build the 100w amp/serial interface. Are you sure this lets you configure the menus? Don't know as I don't have a K2 but it should allow all facilities that
Elecraft included in the CAT commands. Check your manual.
