On my K3 I am not getting ALC at all showing on the meter. The signalink goes into transmit and my K3 goes into transmit. I am showing on my LP-100A an SWR and power going out to the antenna. I have the Signalink USB and attempting to use it with my Elecraft K3. I am using: K3 The K3 inter connecting cable supplied by Tigertronics HRD V5.0 build 2321 Digital Mater 780 K3 and HRD are connected through LP-Bridge What I have done: The computer (WINXP) has recognized the USB Signalink and has installed it. The sound and audio devices have been left with the on board PC sound card I also have tried changing them to the CODEC signalink card as well. I have turned off the Windows sound effects...just for the reason they bother me. The properties of the Windows volume control have been set to CODEC in Mixer device and adjust volume is set to playback. In Digital Master I have set it up according to the Tigertronics website. I have set the PTT to None and under sound card. Input Receive is set to CODEC and output I checked the "Use input device" The settings on the K3 are as follows Data A is the mode Mic gain is set to 50 Line in is set to 10 RF power is set to 100 watts Here is what I have tried: Changing the the K3 to Data PSK31 but that did not get me any ALC. Turning up the Mic gain no ALC Turning up the Line in all the way but no ALC So I am not sure what to try next...... Did you set the K3 to use the rear connector in DATA A mode?

Temporarily unplug the cable going into the computer's speaker-out jack and transmit something. Make sure there is audio coming out (unmute speakers if they are muted) and turn up speaker-out audio to about 80.
