Split VFOs

TG9AJR Juan Munoz
Hello,

When try to work split and try to use REV to listen on the calling frequency
and move VFO B it also starts moving VFO A, how can I unlock this option
so the receiving frequency VFO A will remain ?

Hello Juan....

I suspect you have the VFOs "linked".  To "unlink" press and hold the
"sub" button.

Juan,

If turning the main tuning knob changes the frequencies in both VFOs,
your two VFOs are linked. Hold the SUB button to unlink them.

To lock your receive frequency so that turning either tuning knob cannot
change it, you can use the LOCK button, provided the two VFOs are not
linked. However (I am not sure whether this qualifies as a bug or a
feature), LINK appears to take precedence over LOCK. That is, when the
two VFOs are linked, turning the VFO A knob changes the VFO B frequency
even when the lock symbol is displayed beside VFO B. Personally I would
have expected the reverse (LOCK to take precedence over LINK).
