Split in RTTY?

When in 'data' mode if I try to split I get a 'SPL N/A' display.  I do not
use the data modes very often.  I did not see anything in the manual (
probably missed it).  Any help?

Joe,

The only time I get the "SPL N/A" is if the VFO's aren't on the same band or if I'm in PSK D mode.

All three other DATA modes work fine in split.
