Sorry to hear about your near hit and the damage Cary
Start here. So it doesn't happen again. http://www.smithspower.com/brands/polyphaser You need to protect all incoming wires from your antennas, relay boxes, rotors and any control boxes that are on the tower. You also need to protect your AC lines coming to at least the Ham Shack and better yet the Whole House protection is much better. It doesn't take much to kill the many low voltage devices we all have in our hamshacks and homes today. John k9uwa Polyphaser turn Blitz into Bliss. And no I am not connected with the company. Just a very happy user of their devices. > Elecraft Reflector: > > Some weird things going on at my station. don't forget that long antenna you have running out to the street,
even if it's buried your telephone line brings bad stuff in on it ,,, it took out a new TV...router, network raid drive, all the phones the junk probably crossed over on a two line phone to the magicjack..then into the network... now a box, happens to be polyphaser...to 10 foot gnd rodS.... antennas were disconnected bill At 02:00 PM 6/18/2014, Hunsdon Cary III wrote: >Elecraft Reflector: > > Some weird things going on at my station.
