USB sound card for KX3 I/Q

Chris Meagher-4
I'm considering what USB sound card to use for KX3 I/Q, for spectrum
display.
Interested in any recommendations. Anyone tried using Signalink USB?
Thanks,  Chris VK2ACD

Chris,

There is no sense even trying the SignaLink for that purpose.  You need
a stereo soundcard, the SignaLink is mono (at least on the outside of
the box, I am certain the sound IC is stereo, but it is just not wired)

See posts from yesterday for information about soundcards for that use..

Mine works great with the new hookup for the KX3 they just released on all
digital modes.

A sound card for digital modes is mono and and bandwidth < 10 Khz or so. For
I-Q data processing for spectrum display, stereo is required and much
greater bandwidth. Signal link USB is not usable for I-Q data. About
anything will work for digital modes.
