Unlink them by holding the SUB button instead of tapping it. The tap toggles the subreceiver on/off. The hold SUB toggles the link/unlink behavior. When linked, the VFO B knob adjusts the offset of B from A. It sounds like the two VFOs may be linked together.
Hold the SUB button (below and to the right of the VFO A knob) to unlink the VFOs. See page 14 of the K3 Owner's manual. 73 de Dick, K6KR -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Todd Ruby Sent: Saturday, August 30, 2008 2:19 PM To: [hidden email] Subject: [Elecraft] a/b vfos I just got my k3 back from a friend who used the radio for a couple of weeks and what is happening is that when i turn the large VFO knob both A and B freqs change together. the smaller knob controls the B VFO as it should. any ideas why this is happening tnx in advance 73 de todd WB2ZAB _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
