I'm missing the "guts" of one of my yellow test point connectors for my K2.
The yellow shell is there, but not the metal insert that connects to the probe and is soldered to the board. From experience, missing parts take about a week to arrive here. Anyone have any suggestions on how to work around this so I don't lose more time waiting on parts? Thanks! harry KD0NFY ps - I know the best suggestion is for me to inventory the parts I have left so I don't have to wait again, and I'm doing that now. -- Have old memories and young hopes. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

Mike I think you read what little mind I have left. ;) I was just sitting
here working on it and that's what I'll do. Thanks! Henry,
If this is a new K2, send an email to [hidden email] and request a replacement. In the meantime, use whatever substitute means you wish to substitute for the test point at TP3 - that one is used the most seldom. Put the good ones at TP1 and TP2 which will be used more often. 73, Don W3FPR On 10/25/2013 9:01 PM, Harry Stone wrote: > I'm missing the "guts" of one of my yellow test point connectors for my K2. > The yellow shell is there, but not the metal insert that connects to the > probe and is soldered to the board. > > >From experience, missing parts take about a week to arrive here.
