I am getting audio feedback through my speaker when I transmit how do I
eliminate this . I don't want to use it as a public address system when transmitting. I must have inadvertantly pushed this feature on? 73 ....Peter VE7REZ /w6 ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

Hello Peter - I don't have a KX3 as I am not a backpacker, but if it's
the K3 you are referring to, press in the knob to the lower, left of the main tuning knob to enable the monitor control. Turn it down accordingly. 73 de David G4DMP In a recent message, Peter Reinzuch <[hidden email]> writes >I am getting audio feedback through my speaker when I transmit how do I >eliminate this . Peter,
Check the MON volume. If it's up you'll hear it when transmitting. Just turn it down to zero. ________________________________ From: Peter Reinzuch <[hidden email]> To: [hidden email] Sent: Saturday, October 27, 2012 9:23 AM Subject: [Elecraft] audio feed back I am getting audio feedback through my speaker when I transmit how do I eliminate this . Peter,
It is not feedback - it is the monitor setting. If you are using headphones, you want a bit of the audio to be present in the headphones, but when using speakers, you will want to turn the monitor volume to zero. 73, Don W3FPR On 10/27/2012 10:23 AM, Peter Reinzuch wrote: > I am getting audio feedback through my speaker when I transmit how do I > eliminate this .
