audio feed back

Peter Reinzuch
I am getting audio feedback through my speaker when I transmit how do I
eliminate this .  I don't want to use it as a public address system when
transmitting.  I must have inadvertantly pushed this feature on?

Hello Peter - I don't have a KX3 as I am not a backpacker, but if it's
the K3 you are referring to, press in the knob to the lower, left of the
main tuning knob to enable the monitor control. Turn it down
accordingly.

Peter,
Check the MON volume. If it's up you'll hear it when transmitting. Just turn it down to zero.

Peter,

It is not feedback - it is the monitor setting.  If you are using
headphones, you want a bit of the audio to be present in the headphones,
but when using speakers, you will want to turn the monitor volume to zero.
