end fed

I just bought a KX1 and am awaiting delivery.. will be taking it to
Mexico with me and operating from a hotel. I've been looking at these
QSO King end fed antennas that are multi-band. Does anyone have any
experience with using an end fed antenna? and can this rig's autotuner
tune a random wire if need be?

Hello Phil,

I use a PAR End-Fed, 40/20/10, and it works great. I can tune it on 15M with my K1 ATU…
Also, these work great: http://earchi.org/proj_homebrew.html
I get the toroids from the wireman.com. Easy to build...
