I had latest beta (3.27) loaded and thought I'd save the configuration. It failed with a prompt regarding EEPROM 000.013. I thought I'd reload the firmware again (3.27) but it stopped, saying that it couldn't load MCU. The K3 was frozen with MCU LD on VFO B and TX light flashing. It would not turn off. I restarted the Utility and got the same message. I turned off the power supply and when restarting the K3, it shows the same MCU LD on VFO B but the fans are running and the screen light is no longer lit. The is the first issue I've ever had with firmware loading. No of course the K3 is inoperable. The utility is (Mac 1.2.3.18)
Couldn't see anything in the Troubleshooting section of the manual. Help Please! Gary W7TEA K3 (1001)

Gees. Thought I'd remember that it is almost always something simple. My logger program was also running. Dumb. Anyway, all fixed and apologize for the wasted bandwidth.

That will definitely cause a problem. :)

Same thing happened here until I discovered I still had my virtual port splitter running. Scared the heck out of me but all is well now. Funny how those ports have to be correct!
