k2 cw filter settings

for the cw filter values in cw like fl2 0.70 is this 700hz?
and if you make a change to fl2 0.50 most one updating bf2 as well  to
other values

The numerical values associated with the K2 filter settings are
approximations, used mostly for reference when adjusting the filters.
They do not indicate the "exact" filter bandwidths, etc.

Aligning the K2 filters is best accomplished following the instructions
on Don Wihelm's site, http://www.w3fpr.com/. Look at the bottom of the
main page for "K2 Filter Alignment." Don is an expert authority on the
K2, and his instructions are just about the standard for aligning the
filters.

Carlos,

If you change the filter width, you will also have to change the BFO
settings to keep the passband centered at your desired sidetone pitch.
