Hi Buddy,
It works great! I have two different ISP; Cox Cable in Ohio and then ATT uverse in Texas and things work very well. I am curious what you are going to run as you control until (the one you will be actually touching). I use a K3 on both ends and it is like I am sitting in my shack, I can not tell the difference. If you do go this route and run into any set up problems, give Elecraft a call and ask for Brendan. Brendan is a RemoteRig genius and he can walk you through any problem. 73 de Jim - KE8G ---- Buddy Spiegel <[hidden email]> wrote: > I am thinking of adding the k3 remote feature to my rig. can someone share their experience doing this with ATT uverse as Internet service provider. > > w3bs, buddy spiegel > > > > Sent from my iPhone > ______________________________________________________________ > Elecraft mailing list > Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > Post: mailto:[hidden email] > > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

I use the 6 meg ATT uverse plan to control my hilltop K-line using a K3/0. Works great. Get as much bandwidth as you can afford. have heard some of their earlier modems were not RF friendly, (QRN) but not an issue on the control side.
