keyboard operation

Seems I recall that a provision for operating a
keyboard directly with the k3 would happen. No
computer necessary. Was I correct?

    Eric indicated off Reflector that the FAQ was incorrect.  He has since removed that capability from the FAQ.

No. It was speculation folllowing a suggestion from Wayne very early on that this *might* be an application of the engineering test connector below the front panel. It has never been confirmed as a feature so I think we must assume it will never happen until given firm evidence that they are considering it.
