ref in a pile up.

tony rowland
if i am the dx station and heard you trying to "jump" the line i can tell you you would be on the bottom of the list. arrl puts out a great paper called ethic's and operating procedure's that covers's just that problem. While working peacekeeping forces in the Army i watched a  friend of mine become a rare one. with a very limited time frame he worked over 95 POLITE contact's and totally ignored 12 USA power station's who just knew with their power they had the right to jump ahead. He never did even say their call just had me put them in the black book.

Ken Widelitz
Gee Tony, how do you take a number and queue up in a pile-up?

Is this ham radio we're talking about or picking up a pound of bologna
at the deli counter?

Where do I get my "ticket" Tony?  Kinda reminds me of the DX nets on 20M
phone years ago...no thanks!
