silent subreceiver on 14 MHz, need help

ha4zd
Just observed that the subreceiver of my K3 does not work on 14 MHz
only. When I tune the sub it looks like that the VFO changes its
frekvency as I hear "spurr" while tuning. No signal heard coming from
antenna input. This phenomena is on 20m only the rest of the bands are
fine. No difference between modes. Where shall I start the diagnosis?

Istvan, it could be something simple. Check to make sure that you
haven't accidentally selected the Rx Ant or Ant 2 for the sub-RX on 20
meters.

Do you have the subRX AUX antenna selected for 20 meters?
Enter BSET and tap ANT to switch between the main antenna and the AUX
antenna.

Main ant vs. aux/other ant ant is saved separately by band and which RX,
which might cause one the sub RX to seem off as that state is only
displayed after BSET (hold on A/B button).   Also true of ATT/PRE.  This is
also true of the NB and NR state and selection.  If those are set to a
"hard" quieting, the RX might seem off.

Yes, both of you were right. I use only ANT1 & 2 and I checked them
before. Have not checked the AUX input and the sub was set to AUX. Slow
mind on Sunday, thank you for the help.
