v2.32 Beta and DSP filtering

Gary, W7TEA
I notice an appreciable drop in audio output when I narrow the DSP filter from 150hz to 100hz.  AFV readings go from 971 to 343 on a 50uv signal from a XG-2.  The 200hz filter is OFF. RX equalization is flat.

I believe this is new in 2.32 but wouldn't swear to it and, of course, I trashed the prior beta firmware.  Reloaded all firmware again this morning and the effect is still the same.

Anyone else notice this?  Thanks.

Gary:
Under the same conditions, my AFV is almost flat.

Hi Gary,

which DSP filter type do have activated for the narrowest bandwidths? Do
both types (FIR & IIR) do this?

I use FIR but both types do it.

Re: v2.32 Beta and DSP filtering

Gary, W7TEA
I thought I had RxEQ flat but did not.  I had the 400
and 800hz segments peaked +6dB.  That's inconsistent
with the narrowest filters so all is well now.

Thanks for the responses, on and off the list and to
Wayne and Lyle's immediate help!
